High-Level Special Event: Forging a Common Agenda to Achieve Debt Sustainability in Developing Countries

You are invited to register for a high-level special event, co-hosted by the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdom of Spain, in partnership with the Gates Foundation. This event will take place on the sidelines of the upcoming United Nations Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) in Sevilla, Spain.

This gathering, co-chaired by H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, and H.E. Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, President of the Government of Spain, will bring together policymakers, international financial institutions, thought leaders and civil society representatives. Discussions will focus on aligning debt restructuring and structural reforms with LMIC priorities, supporting efforts to build a just and transparent global debt architecture that restores fiscal space and enables countries to invest in their people and economies.

As a limited number of seats will be reserved for confirmed participants, we recommend that you arrive at the venue as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
